Event 1: Smart Cities First Write Report on Government Work at the National Level
In the report on the work of the government in 2015, when talking about urban construction, Premier Li Keqiang said that he wanted to develop smart cities, protect and inherit history and regional culture, and increase public facilities construction. This is the first time that the term "smart city" has been written into the government work report at the national level, which has aroused great concern from all walks of life.
Under the background of new urbanization construction, building smart cities has become an irreversible trend to solve urban development problems and achieve sustainable urban development in China. Event 2: The establishment of Intelligent Manufacturing by the Leading Group of Building a National Manufacturing Power has attracted much attention.
On June 24, the General Office of the State Council issued a circular on the establishment of a leading group for building a strong manufacturing country. The leading group was headed by Vice Premier Ma Kai of the State Council, Minister Miao Wei of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Deputy Secretary-General Xiao Yaqing of the State Council, and Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Commission, Lin Nianxiu.
